CEO
Brett Shaheen is a healthcare investor, entrepreneur, and operator with a proven track record of building early-stage healthcare companies and investing across multiple asset classes. Prior to launching Redesign Health, Brett was a partner, Managing Director, and lead healthcare analyst at Lone Pine Capital. Prior to Lone Pine, Brett was a Private Equity Associate at the Carlyle Group, where he focused on healthcare investments and worked on the successful acquisitions of Healthscope and PPD. He began his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs and previously spent time at both Google and the Boston Consulting Group. Brett holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, received an MPhil in International Relations from Christ Church, Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. / B.A. from the Wharton School / Penn. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars and Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations. Brett is a classical pianist and played varsity squash at Penn. He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and lives on Long Island with his wife Ashleigh and their two children.

Head of New Business Development
Kyle Tatz is a healthcare investor, entrepreneur, and operator with over a decade of experience growing early-stage healthcare businesses and investing across the capital structure. At Redesign, Kyle oversees the teams responsible for research, portfolio management, customer insights, and product strategy. He previously managed the teams responsible for Redesign's collaborations with major healthcare incumbents, including health systems and insurance companies. In those capacities, he has overseen the deployment of >$300M of capital in the creation of over 60 new businesses across the healthcare technology and services industry.
Prior to Redesign, Kyle was part of the investment team at Highfields Capital, a $13 billion hedge fund, where he invested across sectors such as consumer, technology, and financial services. At The Blackstone Group's Restructuring and Reorganization Advisory, he provided strategic advice to distressed companies.
Kyle has held board positions for several of Redesign Health’s ventures, including Lively, which was acquired by GN Resound in 2021, and Vault Health. Kyle chairs Redesign’s governance committee, which oversees ongoing performance and funding for all of Redesign's new operating companies.
He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Finance and English. Kyle lives in Greenwich, CT with his wife and two children.

Head of New Ventures
Neil has been an operator, consultant, and early-stage investor in the healthcare industry for nearly 20 years. Before joining Redesign Health as the Head of New Ventures, Neil was the Head of Partner Strategy and Solutions for the Amazon Web Services Healthcare Business. Neil joined Amazon after leading a successful turnaround and sale of Healthbox, an innovation services firm backed by Sandbox Industries, Intermountain Healthcare, and HCSC, to HIMSS (Health Information Management Systems Society). As CEO of Healthbox, Neil led the company's corporate incubation and innovation strategy business while also serving as the General Partner for the Intermountain Healthcare Innovation Fund and the Davita Venture Fund, Healthbox's corporate venture funds. Before joining Healthbox, Neil was a management consultant with The Chartis Group, developing enterprise strategic plans for children's hospitals, FQHCs, integrated delivery networks, and academic medical centers. Neil started his career at Sg2 in a technology evaluation and consulting role, focusing on surgical services, operations, and service line planning. Neil received an M.B.A. with concentrations in finance, healthcare, and entrepreneurship from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Head of Strategic Finance & Governance
Vijay Kori is a seasoned strategy & finance leader with 15 years of experience across equity research, investment banking, corporate development, and strategic finance. At Redesign Health, he leads the Strategic Finance team responsible for overseeing fundraising and strategic finance initiatives for the platform's portfolio of 60+ early-stage companies. Before Redesign, Vijay was a Director on the Corporate Development and Strategic Finance team at Compass overseeing a dozen acquisitions and supporting the launch of new business lines. Prior to Compass, Vijay was the Director of Corporate Development at Verizon where he led and supported over $10 billion of M&A across Media and Ad Technology. Prior to Verizon, he was a senior investment banking analyst at Stone Key Partners and an equity research associate at Raymond James. Vijay graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration and minors in Finance and Chemistry.

Head of Strategic Initiatives
Parker Hayden has been an investor and financial professional for nearly twenty years, having invested over $3.3 billion in equity across more than eighty transactions, including in leading consumer brands such as Supreme, Beats, Beautycounter, Vogue (OGX Beauty), and 66° North. Prior to Redesign, Parker was Head of US/EU Private Equity Directs at Mousse Partners, which he joined in 2017 and where he led a number of investments in the healthcare, technology, and consumer sectors. Previously, Parker worked at The Carlyle Group, which he joined in 2003 (and rejoined in 2007 after attending business school), and where he helped lead investments primarily in the consumer sector. During his career, Parker has served on thirteen boards as either a director or observer. Parker has overseen and led every aspect of a transaction, from origination and diligence to structuring, portfolio company management, and value creation. Parker has also led several transaction exits, including strategic sales and public offerings. Prior to joining Carlyle, Parker worked as part of Morgan Stanley’s technology investment banking team which he joined in 2000. Parker received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA, with honors, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.

Head of Strategic Growth & Innovation
Brenda is a healthcare innovation leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur, educator, advisor and board member. She is currently the Head of Strategic Growth and Innovation at Redesign Health. Previously, she founded and led successful ventures including Viridian Health and Solera Health.
Brenda also serves as a Director for several healthcare companies, contributes to Fierce Health as an Editorial Board Advisor, and writes for Entrepreneur Magazine. She has received numerous awards including EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, Best MedTech CEO, Becker’s 102 Women Healthcare IT Leaders, and Phoenix Top 10 Business Leaders. Brenda holds a BS in Microbiology from Indiana University, a MS in Immunology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a MBA from Arizona State University.

VP of Talent Strategy
Tom is an Organizational Psychologist with over a decade of experience specializing in leadership team assessment and performance optimization. Tom joined Redesign Health in 2023 to lead Talent Strategy where he directs the assessment of portfolio CEOs and drives data-driven approaches to hiring, team construction, and founding team support. Previously, as VP of People Strategy at Morning Consult, Tom restructured the organization and established talent management practices. He also served as a lead consultant and product developer at Humu (acquired), where he developed machine-learning approaches to diagnosing talent challenges and implementing change interventions in large enterprises and hypergrowth technology startups. Earlier in his career, Tom worked at Development Dimensions International (DDI), where he developed assessments of high-potential leadership and provided talent strategy consulting for Fortune 100 companies. Tom has published research articles on Leadership Effectiveness, Trust in Leadership, Creativity, and Behavioral Genetics. Tom holds a B.A. magna cum laude in Psychology from Wheaton College and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology.

Head of Startup Success
Ignacio "Nacho" Morillas is the Head of Startup Success and a member of the RH executive team. He is responsible for Redesign's global operations, strategic planning and the RH engagement model providing support to our companies during their launch. He has over 20 years of experience across management consulting and as a start-up operator. Prior to Redesign Health, Nacho was the COO of two early-stage companies in the health and wellness space. During his tenure in those companies, he brought their product to market, rapidly grew the businesses, raised additional institutional rounds, and led the exit of both businesses to strategic partners. Before that, Nacho managed the P&L for a division of Gilt.com, the online retailer, until its acquisition. Nacho started his career as a consultant, first at Accenture and then at McKinsey where he focused on operations and strategy for consumer and pharma companies. He holds a MBA from Columbia Business School and studied Telecommunications engineering in Madrid and Paris.

Head of Strategy & Finance
Samantha Lynch is a strategy & finance professional with an 18-year track record of identifying growth opportunities for technology, ecommerce & media businesses coupled with deep fundraising and M&A experience. Before joining Redesign, Samantha spent nearly five years at Compass, leading corporate development, investor relations, and strategic finance. At Compass, Samantha raised over $1B in funding, driving the valuation from $800M to over $6B. In that role, Samantha also closed fifteen acquisitions across real estate, after-market services and technology and launched agent and seller loan programs. Samantha also led long range planning, KPI development, and financial oversight of the company’s hyper-growth geographic expansion. Prior to joining Compass, Samantha was an early stage venture investor at BBG Capital, a strategy consultant at Activate focused on growth strategies for media & tech companies, a member of the corporate development team at News Corporation and an analyst in the Technology, Media & Telecom investment banking group at Goldman Sachs. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Co-Founder & CEO, Vivid Health
Vivid Health is a care management company harnessing provider Led AITM to create SaaS solutions that drive operational and clinical advancements in healthcare.
Prior to Vivid Health, Patrick was the President of the Mid-Atlantic for Bright Health where he led one of the largest exchange plans in the country, growing membership over 500% in 2 years. Prior to Bright, Patrick led Aledade's largest national market located in North Carolina. There he enabled independent providers to take on VBC contracts and grew the market over 200% in 10 months to become the largest network of independent physicians in the state. Prior to Aledade, Patrick held multiple executive positions at Evolent Health. Among them included Market President for Virginia, where he led one of the largest full risk ACOs in the country, Managing Director for Payer Partnerships, where he oversaw the company's entire VBC portfolio, and Senior Director for Business Innovations, where he led implementation of new markets across the country. Prior to Evolent, Patrick spent years in consulting working for Deloitte and Grant Thornton among others.
Patrick graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Public Policy. He also holds an MBA from East Carolina University.

CEO, Anomaly
Anomaly's AI-powered capabilities streamline healthcare payments for payers, providers, and patients. Anomaly uses its deep expertise in data science and claims data to decode payer payment logic and implement actionable edits.
Mike spent 10 years at The Advisory Board leading their revenue cycle management product. He has deep knowledge about the RCM industry and is looking forward to setting a vision and plan for Anomaly. Most recently he has led commercial development at OxfordVR, a spin-out from Oxford University, built on two decades of research and innovation by Professor Daniel Freeman. Their focus was on developing evidence-based digital treatments to treat serious mental illness by using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The company raised a Series A in February 2020, with investors including Luminous Ventures, Optum Ventures, Force Over Mass Capital, and GTHealthcare Capital Partners.
Previously he was at Mytonomy, which develops software as a service(SaaS) solutions for video-based patient engagement. The company offers products, such as Mytonomy, which is a CRM platform to optimize healthcare content streaming and deliver omnichannel engagement across the patient journey and Mytonomy's Cloud. The Cloud is considered a foundational element in driving digital transformation across multiple leading health systems. Notable Investors include Level Equity Management, WorldQuant Ventures,and Philips Health Technology Ventures.
Mike is currently serving a 4-year gubernatorial appointment to the Board of Health of Virginia.

Erin is an accomplished healthcare executive with over 20 years experience driving growth in the private, public and non-profit healthcare sector. As Executive Vice President of Commercial Partnerships at Shields Health Solutions, Erin helped grow the company from a regional to national footprint with a >20x growth in EBIDTA over 5 years.
A clinical pharmacist by training, Erin previously worked as a Chief Operating Officer within Emory Healthcare and has made a career of working with and within health systems to enhance patient outcomes, provider satisfaction and health-system finances through optimizing clinical pharmacy services.

Uptiv is a patient-focused, chronic condition infusion treatment center that leverages technology to increase patient access and drive differentiated outcomes at lower cost.
Torben brings 20+ years of diverse business experience, ranging from high-growth startups to large household brand names like LEGO, XEROX and BlueCross BlueShield. He most recently led the expansion of the on-demand, innovative retail & digital healthcare platform ZoomCare, scaling it to the largest primary and urgent care provider in the Pacific Northwest serving 350,000+ patients annually across 60+ clinics.
Prior to ZoomCare, Torben co-founded a software-as-a-service company, HealthSparq, in 2012 and grew it to the second-fastest-growing digital health company in the U.S. in 2016 and the 196th fastest-growing private company on the Inc. 5000 list that same year. Before entering healthcare, Torben held executive roles leading marketing, product, e-commerce, operations and retail teams at technology and consumer companies. His leadership was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as "Executive of the Year" in Oregon/SW Washington in 2021.

Rajesh Voddiraju comes from a large extended family of physicians and is an investor in a group of urgent care clinics in the Chicago area. Mr. Voddiraju has over 25 years of experience in founding and leading fast-growth businesses in Healthcare IT, Fintech, Supplier Management industries.
Raj started Health iPASS in 2014 to address the lack of price transparency in healthcare while wrapping that as an integral component of an outstanding patient experience - before, during and after the patient visit. Backed by a syndicate of outstanding Venture Capital firms, Health iPASS was acquired by Sphere, a Waud Capital-backed Healthcare payments platform.
Prior to that, Raj was the Founder/CEO of CVM Solutions, a Supplier Management firm that grew rapidly to be named to Inc 500/5000 Fastest growing private companies list. CVM was acquired by Kroll, a Providence Equity-backed platform.
Raj has been recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive's "Pros to Know" for 4 straight years and is a frequent speaker and author.

Founder & CEO, Harmonic Health
Harmonic Health offers multidisciplinary care management for neurodegenerative disease patients, partnering with healthcare providers and risk-based organizations.
Jim brings a proven track record identifying and leading innovative, financially sound health care opportunities from startup to maturity. He has a diverse background and experience with physician groups, hospital organizations, ancillary healthcare providers (surgery centers, skilled nursing, home health, physical therapy, etc.) and managed care organizations working across commercial, Medicare and Medicaid programs in companies ranging from large private providers, not-for-profits, public fortune 500 and startups.
Over the past 10 years, Jim has led two of the largest specialist value-based care programs in the US. The first as the SVP of Business Development at Signature Medical Group, identifying, developing then overseeing their BPCI Convener operations which encompassed $1.3 billion in annual Medicare costs across the largest orthopedic bundled payment in the US (26 states, 50+ providers, 3,500+ physicians and 45,000+ annual episodes) and their Maternity Care Home. The second as Founder and CEO of Fusion5, a BPCI Advanced Convener which encompassed $2.5 billion in annual Medicare costs across 41 states with 120+ providers, 6,500+ physicians and 90,000+ annual episodes. In addition to Medicare, Fusion5 managed 2,000 to 3,000 annual commercial bundles and worked with Anthem, AON and other large payers in value-based care. In both companies, Jim oversaw the effort to develop and build proprietary technology platforms in data (analytics and management) and clinical solutions (care management, patient engagement and clinical decision-making tools). He designed the organizational and operational structures and oversaw all aspects of each business. In addition to working in value-based care with specialists, Jim has deep experience in population health models, developing ACOs, Medicare Advantage, CINs and DCE.
His companies consistently delivered high quality care by reducing medical cost of 20-30%+ on variable spend, reduced adverse outcomes (30 day readmit, infections, post-surgical complications from UTI, DVT, etc.) by 30%-70%, and achieved patient reported outcomes and satisfaction scores of 97% or better. Physicians involved in these VBC programs generated between 150% to 300% above their standard fee-for-service contracts.
Jim has raised over $80 million in multiple startups and new business developments by building and delivering financially successful companies to investors and shareholders. He achieved this by pushing each company to profitability within less than 15 months of operations, positive cash flow in less than two years, delivering up to 70% EBITDA, and generating valuations of 10x to 12x multiples.
Prior to leading Fusion5 and Signature, Jim has worked as an executive in a variety of areas of health care such as Medicare Advantage, special needs plans, concierge medical models, medical tourism, surgery centers, diagnostics and international medical centers. He has also worked with CMMI as a reviewer and chaired panels on grant and program reviews and currently serves as a board member at BridgePointMD, MI-Logix, and HealthCorum and as a strategic advisor at ECRI.
